What Can I Dump?
We want to make it as easy and straightforward as possible. Read below for details on the trailer rental and what cannot be dumped.
- Weight Limit: Each rented trailer has a weight limit of 2 tons (4,000 lbs). An extra fee of $85 per ton applies for any weight exceeding the limit.
- Level Loads: Trailers should not be overfilled or loaded unevenly. Loads exceeding the top of the trailer or hindering proper tarping will not be hauled. A return trip fee of $75 will be charged for overfilled loads until rectified.
- Waste Segregation: Different types of trash should not be mixed, e.g., concrete with regular trash or roofing materials with concrete.
- Tires: Tires are not accepted in the dumpster. A $25 disposal fee per tire applies if found. Contact us for separate hauling services.
- Liquids: Paint, automobile fluids, and other liquids are not allowed. A $25 disposal fee per container applies if such substances are found.
- Gas Cans & Propane Tanks: These items are not accepted.
- Hazardous Materials: Biohazardous, hazardous, or radioactive materials, including items contaminated with bodily fluids, needles, medications, or medical equipment, are not allowed. Contact the EPA for proper disposal instructions.
- Batteries: All types of batteries, especially lead-acid ones, are not permitted. A $25 disposal fee per battery applies if found. For disposal, contact a local auto parts store.
- Freon-Containing Items: Appliances containing Freon (e.g., A/C units, refrigerators, freezers) must be loaded last and may result in an extra charge. Contact us for separate hauling services.
- Heavy Machinery: No forklifts, backhoes, bobcats, loaders, skid steers, motorcycles, scooters, or motor vehicles.
- Hot Ash or Coal: No ash, coal, burning wood, or any items that were once on fire are allowed. Please ensure complete extinguishment before disposal.
- Animals: No living or dead animals are allowed.
- Food Waste: Please avoid food waste. If necessary, bag it before disposal. Large amounts must be placed in a covered dumpster.
- Unacceptable Materials: Items such as aerosol cans, antifreeze, materials with asbestos, fluorescent lights, medical waste, industrial waste, contaminated soil, flammable liquids are not permitted.
- Dense Material: Brick, shingles, concrete, plaster, wood, etc., are allowed in small amounts. Excessive weight may result in additional costs.
- Heavy Items: For heavy items like dirt, concrete, gravel, or tree stumps, please do not fill the dumpster to the top. Inform us beforehand to determine the safe loading capacity.
- Mattresses: Mattresses and box springs are allowed.
- Liability: Customers are liable for any damages to the container. By using our services, you agree to our terms and conditions. If the trailer is found to be filled above the half-way point or is too heavy to move safely, the customer is responsible for manually removing materials until the trailer is at a safe weight. Charges will occur for dumping and refilling the trailers.
